Copa America .. a loud scandal rocks Chile, and the coach is considering resigning

Press reports revealed a resounding scandal in the Chilean national team, which is currently participating in the Copa America soccer championship, hosted by Brazil.

Reports said that at least six Chilean players behaved immorally and invited girls to the hotel where the entire team was staying.

The Spanish newspaper "Marca", quoting the Chilean press, said that the coach of the Chilean national team, Martin Lasarte, is seriously considering resigning, and punishing those involved by dismissing them and sending them to Chile.

The newspaper pointed out some of the names of those involved in the scandal, all of whom are team stars and who are constantly present in the starting lineup, led by Inter Milan star Arturo Vidal, Jean Minajs, Gary Medel, Pablo Galdams, Pablo Aranjuez, and Eduardo Vargas.

This news spread on the eve of the match between Chile and its Uruguayan counterpart, on Tuesday, in the third round of the first group matches of the Copa America.

It should be noted that Chile is currently leading Group A with 4 points, after drawing 1-1 with Argentina in the first round, and beating Bolivia 1-0 in the second.
