Table runner-up Växjö received second-placed runner-up Djurgården at home when the damallsvenskan started again after the national team break.

It became a speechless and unlucky story.

The first half was even but neither team created any hot goal chances and the score at the break was 0-0.

In the second half, it was the home team that was closest to a winning goal.

Signe Holt Andersen was ever so close to scoring after an excellent corner was met beautifully by Kelsey Daugherty, but the ball bounced off the post to safety.

Shortly afterwards, Nellie Karlsson got a good position, but Daugherty stood in the way that time as well.

Closer to a goal than that, none of the teams came. The match ended 0-0 and Växjö is still last in the damallsvenskan with four points up to Djurgården on safe ground.
