It was 16 days since the last round of the damallsvenskan and about 400 spectators were in place when Piteå received a Hammarby in search of the first win on away grass.

And in the hunt, the guests found their prey.

The Green and Whites got a penalty in the 2nd minute of the match after Ellen Wangerheim was brought down.

Madelen Janogy got the chance from eleven meters and the national team star easily put in his sixth goal of the season and gave his team the perfect start up north.

Piteå responded with a high pressure and tried to hurt Hammarby on counterattacks.

They came to a couple of semi-dangerous positions on both corners and posts, but without results.

With eight minutes left of the first half, however, it was Hammarby who stressed out a situation.

Janogy got a chance to extend the lead when she took the ball, fired in and hit the goal frame.

Sets the seventh goal

When the second half started, it was not long before the next Bajen situation came.

Emilia Larsson, who was quite absent the first 45, was released and finished, however, outside the goalkeeper's left post.

A few minutes later it was time again.

The 1-0 shooter Janogy got the ball on the edge of the penalty area and pulled in with a shot that looked in behind Nichole Persson in goal.

Nerves ticked into the final stages of the match.

Piteå were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 86 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by Jennie Nordin.

But it was saved by Hammarby goalkeeper Anna Tamminen who kept his zero intact - the team's first since May 1 in the 5-0 victory against KIF Örebro.

Seven straight without loss

A final goal was scored instead by incoming Nina Jakobsson.

With minutes left of the second half, she broke in from the left and thundered beautifully into the 3-0 goal with her right foot.

The away team thus expanded its fine lossless suite and is now up to seven straight without defeat.

For Hammarby, Växjö awaits on June 24 next.

Piteå, on the other hand, will visit Kristianstad on 27 June.
