“Emirates Today” learned from an official source that the Competitions Committee in the Football Association limited the start of the new season for first-class clubs to two dates, noting that this depends on the increase in the number of teams, and he said that the first date is likely to be on the third of next September, if It was agreed to increase the number of teams, or 24 of them if the number remained without an increase.

It is noteworthy that the clubs whose participation has been confirmed are Dibba Al Hisn, Al Bataeh, Dibba, Masafi, Al Arabi, Al Taawun, Masfout, Al Dhaid and Al Hamriya, in addition to the two relegated teams from the Arabian Gulf League, Fujairah and Hatta.

According to the previous schedule, the first official competitions will be the preliminary round of the President's Cup.
