The spread of the coronavirus has again increased in the UK and therefore restrictions are being maintained longer than planned.

At present, this means that tourists from all participating European Championship countries must be quarantined for five days when they arrive in the UK.

It will be a problem for the European Football Association when the semi-finals and final of the European Championships are to be played in London.

"Right now we are having discussions with local authorities about supporters of the participating teams being allowed to come to the matches.

They would use strict testing and a bubble that makes them stay in the UK for under 24 hours ", writes Uefa.

According to the AP, the reserve plan is to play the medal matches in Budapest where quarantine requirements are not a problem and a packed arena is allowed.

"There is always a contingency plan, but we believe the final week will be held in London."

Uefa has already managed to increase the number of spectators at Wembley from 22,000 to 40,000 when the playoffs begin.
