Minoru Nakamura, who was also a coach and marked 20 wins in the first year of the so-called "V9", which is the number one professional baseball giant in Japan for nine consecutive years, has passed away.

Mr. Nakamura is a right-handed pitcher from Mie prefecture, and joined the giant in 1957 from Uji Yamada Shoko and now Uji Yamada Shoko.



He won 17 wins in 1958, the fifth year, and 20 wins in 1965, the ninth year, contributing to the league championship and the number one in Japan. Achieved "V9".



Mr. Nakamura retired from active duty in 1969 and pitched in 352 games in a total of 13 years, leaving a record of 72 wins and 53 losses and an earned run average of 2.76.

After retiring, he was a pitcher coach at Giants and Lotte.
