It was a good start to this weekend's Global Champions Tour on Swedish soil.

Peder Fredricson, who won the competition in 2019, was one of the blue and yellows who rode flawlessly.

But despite a fine performance with All In, the time for a podium individual was not enough.

Instead, it was an eleventh place, just over nine seconds behind the winner Scott Brash.

The better it went in the lat competition.

There, Fredricson and Edwina Tops-Alexander are second for tomorrow.

- It is always fun to ride in Sweden and this track is fantastic, says Fredricson to SVT Sport and continues:

- It has gone very well the last few months and all the horses have felt great.

Now there are new conditions, new competitions, says Fredricson.

"Very lucky"

The best Swede for the day in Stockholm was Douglas Lindelöw, who for a long time seemed to be heading for victory.

The 30-year-old, however, was beaten by an Englishman.

- The horse jumped fantastically well.

There was a racker and was a little faster at the end, but there is not much to do, says Lindelöw about his second place with the horse Cheldon.

Third place went to compatriot Henrik von Eckermann with Glamor Girl.

- I am very happy with the horse, she did very well.

A little careful in the last obstacle, I had to hold a little too much and I was very lucky, says von Eckermann who had a real shiver on the last obstacle.
