He is one of the world's best strikers and recently broke a historic record in the Bundesliga.

Lewandowski scored his 41st league goal of the season, breaking Gerd Müller's 50-year-old goal record.

But in Poland's European Championship premiere against Slovakia, the striker combed zero - just as he did in ten previous championship matches (European Championship and World Cup).

- Playing in the national team is a great honor, but you should also remember that you do not end up in so many situations and do not get as many chances to score, Lewandowski says to SVT Sport and continues:

- I have to be patient.

We still have two games left but we are certainly not in a good situation but we must dare to believe that it is possible.

Poland plays in the same group as Sweden and will meet Spain next on Saturday.

Check out Lewandowski's goal result later in the article.
