Johannes Hösflot Kläbo was first over the finish line when the five-mile was decided on March 7 earlier this year.

But shortly afterwards, the Norwegian was dished out after an incident in the riot where he and Alexander Bolshunov hooked each other.

Kläbo tells Norwegian VG that the incident will probably be remembered for the rest of his life.

- I will probably never forget that race.

I will remember it forever, he says.

Happy with the development at a distance

It has been three months since he lost the gold in Oberstdorf.

With distance to the event, the sprint specialist Kläbo feels that he can still be happy about his development as a distance skier.

- I feel that it is great that I got paid for the job I put in.

I have taken steps at a distance and that is the greatest joy.

He says that the event does not affect him negatively, but that he sees it as a lesson for the coming season.

The highlight will be the Olympics in China 2022 - and he longs.

- In many ways, I will probably feel revenge.

I'm not angry or annoyed.

But I am really hungry for the winter, there is no doubt at all, says Kläbo to VG.
