Fabian Delryd, 24, has shown good form lately.

In the Sollentuna Grand Prix he won after passing 2.25.

Three days later he took 2.30 - without trembling on the crossbar.

After that height, he also tried at 2.34, which would mean a personal record for Delryd.

- It felt really good, it was high over.

Then I was a little too eager at 2.34, got too close in the approach.

Feeling in good shape from Sollentuna now and needed to take advantage, he says afterwards to Swedish Athletics.

2.33, which Delryd set in 2018, is also the Olympic nomination limit.

A limit he has set his sights on.

- I had taken 2.33 or 2.34 with the jump I made at 2.30.

I feel confident in jumping and it feels natural to jump high.

The qualifying period expires on June 29, so I have 1.5 weeks to clear the limit, says Delryd.

Tonight's jump of 2.30 at Tibblevallen in Täby makes him the European Five this year, and eleventh in the world.

This weekend, the European Championship team in Romania awaits Fabian Delryd.
