The European Football Association "UEFA" said on its website today, Wednesday: "Several people suffered injuries that required them to be taken to hospital for treatment, caused by a parachute before the start of the match that France won 1-0."

The paratrooper caused chaos for a few minutes on the field, according to the video circulating on social media, which showed the coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, and a number of France players avoiding the parachute landing.

“Bild” stated that the activist was supposed to drop a ball covered with the green peace logo, on the field, as an expression of protest against the tournament sponsor, but he hit the “spider camera” cables for television transmission from the stadium ceiling, and lost control, hitting the heads of the fans, and continued his way to the field.
