France's victory was indisputable where the finish had a hard time reaching the finish line.

The team only had their end that reached within the goal frame.

France had two goals missed for offside in the second half.

In the final minutes, France countered and Paul Pogba played the ball to Kylian Mbappé on the right wing.

He rushed into the depths and recorded the ball to Karim Benzama who met immediately and thought he had made it 2-0 and cheered long before it was rejected after VAR review.

It was Mbappé who was a fine offside.

The German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was sure of the result and put the ball up early to hit the free kick.

The referee signaled a penalty 98 minutes into the game following an offense which looked like it was outside the box.

Own goal decided the match

In the middle of the second half, many and not least Kylian Mbappé thought he had increased France's lead to 2-0.

He got the ball in the deep and worked his way back up the track on the left edge and found the gap behind Manuel Neuer in the far burgaval and saw the ball go in goal.

At the side, however, stood a relentless assistant referee with a hoisted flag.

After 20 minutes, the match was decided.

The ball was then played back to the left touchline, but Lucas Hernandez managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.

And was clearly saddened after the mistake in front of the home crowd on the "away field".
