The France team won 1-0 Tuesday night in Munich for its entry into Euro 2020 against Germany.

Thanks to this first victory, the Blues confirm their status as favorites in this competition.

They will have to confirm Saturday against Hungary which lost in the afternoon 3-0 against Portugal.

First victory for the Blues in this Euro football!

Didier Deschamps' men beat Germany on Tuesday night in Munich for their first match in the competition (1-0).

In front of some 2,000 French supporters who had made the trip, the players of the France team delivered a solid performance and will try to produce this performance on Saturday against Hungary.

They lost 3-0 in the late afternoon game against Portugal.

The Blues succeed in their entry into the competition

France has not lost in Germany since 1987. And this Tuesday evening was no exception to the rule.

Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann, Karim Benzema and others won 1-0 in a highly anticipated match.

In a stadium with a scattered audience, they had yet seemed to give up the ball to the men of Joachim Löw in the first moments of the match.

But the Blues woke up little by little, with first a nice collective movement in the 14th minute then a nice shot from Mbappé well diverted by the German goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer (16th).

Then came deliverance after a bright opening from Paul Pogba to Lucas Hernandez on his left side.

His cross caused a goal against German defender Mats Hummels.

Germany then tried to react with an attempt by Ilkay Gündogan (37th) missed the goal of Hugo Lloris.

In the second half, the Blues, sometimes dominated by the Germans, then had bad luck with Rabiot who touched the post after being thrown on the left side (51st).

While the German striker Serge Gnabry saw his volley fly over the goal of the France team on a cross from the left, Mbappé in the 66th, then Benzema in the 85th, scored goals reported offside.

The player: monumental Paul Pogba

Already huge at the 2018 World Cup, Paul Pogba has again proven that he knows how to respond to major events.

Very comfortable in the heart of the game, the Manchester United midfielder was once again very solid in the recovery and in the distribution of the balls.

Paul Pogba was especially at the origin of a magnificent opening towards Lucas Hernandez which led to the goal of Mats Hummels against his camp.

And this is the BUUUUUUUUUT !!!!

The offensive trident did the job on defense

The defensive strength of the Blues was also made possible by the work of their attacking trio made up of Kylian Mbappé, Antoine Griezmann and Karim Benzema.

From the first minutes of the match, Mbappé and Griezmann brilliantly made two returns of several meters to relieve their defense.

In the 55th minute, it was then a return of the same type of Benzema which allowed in the wake of launching Kylian Mbappé.

Then Griezmann did it again with a great tackle in the 83rd.

The supporters of the Blues are heard

The songs of the 2,000 supporters of the France team echoed repeatedly in the Allianz Arena Tuesday in Munich.

The French in the stadium first sang Marseillaise in the 43rd minute.

Then they warmed their voices with the song "To arms".
