The French team arrived in Germany on Monday, on the eve of their first Euro 2020 match, as did many supporters who crossed the Rhine to support the Blues.

Europe 1 was able to meet some of these fans in the streets of Munich, with the atmosphere of major international events.

REPORTAGE

The France team landed Monday, in the middle of the day, in Munich where it will face Germany on Tuesday, at 9 pm, for its first match of Euro 2020. And already, the streets of the Bavarian capital are blooming with jersey blue: supporters crossed the border in large numbers to support the 2018 world champions against those of 2014.

A fuzzy protocol?

Crossed by Europe 1, five Parisians were keen, upon their arrival, to toast, beer in hand, to the health of Didier Deschamps' men.

However, they admit that the Covid-19 protocol to be respected to enter the stadium still escapes them.

"The rules are not very clear. It's hard to know what to do," admits one of the supporters.

"Either we are double vaccinated, or we had the Covid less than six months ago, and in this case it is enough to go and get a bracelet at the stadium. Otherwise, you have to do a test", explains a another Frenchman, better informed than his compatriot.

In Bavaria, an FFP2 mask must also be worn in the stadium, although it is not compulsory outside the enclosure.

"We have an attack which is far above"

If France is announced as favorite, fans remain measured against the German giant.

"I think we're a little too confident, but it's going to be a good game and we're going to get out of it!" Said one of our five friends.

"Of course you have to be wary, but we have a team which, on paper, is stronger. We have an attack that is far above. Defense is fine. Frankly, we will win" , wants to reassure one of the accomplices.

In any case, this group of supporters promises to make the maximum noise to encourage the Blues.
