Sweden had to put the greatest focus on the defensive against Spain.

But the few times blue-yellow managed to create something forward, it was Alexander Isak who was behind it.

With twenty minutes left, he had to step down when Janne Andersson replaced him and Marcus Berg with Robin Quaison and Viktor Claesson.

- I had not done that.

He felt hot and played with greater and greater self-confidence in the match, Strömberg says about Isak.

- Should there be a situation, a change or that it is neglected somewhere, so that we come one on one, he has shown that he can really make it for them, he continues.

Isak: "Did it damn well"

Alexander Isak himself says after the match that he did not step down due to an injury or the like, but could have stayed on the field.

- I started to get offensive and created some.

But of course in matches like this you put energy on the defensive work and there I had started to lose energy.

I understand that Janne wanted fresh legs defensively, says the 21-year-old after the match.

But when Isak stepped down, Sweden had problems creating something forward but had to focus entirely on keeping close behind.

Something they also succeeded in getting a point from the European Championship premiere against Spain.

- We did damn well today.

In advance, they had been damn happy with one point, says Isak.

Janne's answer

For Janne Andersson, it was no wonder to take off Alexander Isak.

- He was tired. He and Mackan (Berg) run a lot copiously. He did great Alex, but I started to get tender I can say, says Janne Andersson
