Despite the wind conditions not being the best, Daniel Ståhl accounted for a throw of 68.03.
The throw was enough for victory, almost four meters before the second Simon Pettersson (64.42).
- We are so used to throws over 70 meters, but the weather does not always allow it.
Based on those conditions, it is a great competition Daniel does, says SVT's expert Alhaji Jeng.
"Total dead wind," said Ståhl.
- You could hear the mosquitoes speaking the northern dialect, he says to SVT Sport and continues:
- There is a lot of power today. I miss a little at the entrance of the sprint. It was a bit eager, but otherwise I'm happy.
