Despite an ongoing contract, after 22 seasons and eight Swedish Championship gold medals, Hans Andersson was told that he was no longer welcome in Edsbyn's squad.

Already in May, rumors circulated that the 39-year-old was on his way to arch-rival Bollnäs, but only on Sunday evening did it become completely clear.

Bollnäs itself confirms the news on social media.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to present one of Bandysverige's biggest players, who now joins our young and hungry team, and contributes with exactly the top competence and routine we want," the club writes.

Andersson has signed a three-year contract with the club.
