Novak Djokovic took home the French Open for the second time in his career after a powerful turnaround.
The world setter was down 2-0 in sets against Stefanos Tsitsipas but then managed to turn it into a 3-2 victory.
His 19th Grand Slam title.
Smooth introduction
The first set began with both players holding their serves until the score 5-4 to Tsitsipas.
Then the Greek got the chance to take home the first set with a set ball.
But Djokovic resisted and saved the important point after a powerful duel.
Djokovic then broke Tsitsipa's serve to 6-5 - but the 22-year-old broke back immediately and it had to be decided in a tiebreak.
A tiebreak that Stefanos Tsitsipas took home with 8-6.
- You are not used to seeing Djokovic under pressure, said Jonas Björkman in Eurosport's broadcast.
In set number two, Tsitsipas took command when he broke Djokovic's first game.
Which also laid the foundation for the set victory with a clear 6-2.
Djokovic struck back
In the next set, it was time for Djokovic to break Tsitsipa's serve, then to the score 3-1.
The world setter reduced to 2-1 in sets after a total of 6-3 in third.
Djokovic found his way back to his game and made use of his strength.
In the fourth set, he went up in a 3-0 lead.
In the end, it was 6-2 to the world setter.
Everything was then decided in the fifth and final set.
And there Djokovic got off to a good start.
He broke the Greek game at 2-1 and Tsitsipas began to get more and more frustrated.
In the end, Novak Djokovic's number was bigger and he secured the French Open title after winning the fifth set in an impressive way.
The numbers were eventually written to 6-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4.
