Viktor Claesson and Marcus Berg are the only two players in the Swedish European Championship squad who have had time to get vaccinated.

They have received the Russian vaccine Sputnik V through their club Krasnodar.

- I'm very happy about that.

You can feel a little safer, but I know that you can still get an infection, says Claesson.

"Becoming an ethical issue"

He would have liked to see all European Championship players given the same chance so that it does not become unfair between the teams.

- They wished Uefa had been the same for everyone.

That they had bought the required doses, he says.

- But then it becomes an ethical issue.

Then you go before those who need the vaccine more than us.

But it is clear that one wishes it had been fair.

Claesson and Berg thought together before choosing to accept the vaccine.

- We had some discussions, especially we Swedes with families.

We read a lot about the vaccine and tried to become some amateur experts.

But when we put it all together, we still felt it was the best decision, says Claesson.
