This was reported by "Fontanka" with reference to the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise "Petersburg Metro".

On June 10, the vice-governor of St. Petersburg Maxim Sokolov, as well as the chairman of the Transport Committee Kirill Polyakov, checked the readiness of the Zenit station for the safe transportation of passengers, noting that the metro is fully ready to operate during Euro 2020.

Eight showcases with copies of Zenit trophies are installed on the station platforms.

Among them are the USSR Cup - 1944, USSR Championship awards - 1984, Russian Championships - 2014/15 and 2019/20, Russian Super Cup, Russian Cup - 2010, UEFA Cup - 2008 and UEFA Super Cup - 2008.

In July 2020, the toponymic commission of St. Petersburg approved the renaming of the Novokrestovskaya station to Zenit.

It was closed for re-issuance and for the first time since the pandemic started working in test mode on May 2.
