He added, "I received compressed training in the Macedonian camp, under the supervision of an integrated technical and medical staff, and I am happy with the remarkable improvement that I feel in the technical and physical aspects, before returning to Dubai to enter directly into an international atmosphere."

He continued, "Despite reaching the age of 51, my ambitions are great to continue to reap achievements, especially in the Olympic arena, as I am still passionate about searching for podiums and raising the state flag high in major forums."

He concluded: “My 22-year career of achievements in powerlifting represents an additional motivation to make more effort, and I will make sure in Tokyo to be (the difficult number) in the competitions, especially as I will enter the atmosphere of the Japan Tournament while defending my gold medal that I won in Rio de Janeiro 2016 tournament.
