Today, the head of the organizing committee behind the Olympics in Tokyo, Toshiro Muto, told about some measures that have been taken to make the Olympics as covid-secure as possible.

One of them is that all athletes and everyone from international media will be tracked with GPS.

You will not follow where they are in real time, but if it is required to trace covid-19, you will use it.

Muto also said that it is still not decided whether alcohol will be allowed in the Olympic village or not.

With just over six weeks left before the Olympics begin, Tokyo is still in a state of emergency.

The Olympics begin on July 23 and run until August 8.
