The official reason why Fåhraeus quits is that he has got a new job in Piteå.

- It is sad that he quits after such a short time in the union.

He seems to be a skilled force that has worked on.

It will be a very poor continuity in building a new ski Sweden at an elite level now, says Blomquist.

An internal email exchange that SVT Sport has read shows that another reason was that the parties had different views on the leadership of the union.

But Strömberg did not want it to come out.

"I think it would be very unfortunate to even reveal that there are different views on leadership - not externally, not internally," Strömberg writes.

"This is not how we can have it"

Blomquist thinks this is bad leadership.

- I think it's deplorable.

Unfortunately, I am not surprised, because you recognize a lot from these turns that have been in recent years.

It is untrue, perhaps even lies sometimes, linked to staff recruitment or that you have gotten rid of talented people.

That is not a leadership that feels particularly modern or that I think Ski-Sweden needs.

I think the board and the chairman must do something about this, because this is how we can not have it, he says.

Fåhraeus is one of several leading figures in the ski association who have left in recent years.

Before he was hired in January 2020, national team captain Rikard Grip and national team manager Jonas Peterson only got four months in the post.

- It is obvious that it does not work when we can not have good forces in the business in a continuous way, but there will be such panic solutions.

It really does not feel good.

Ski-Sweden is so cool to work with and there should be many talented people who can do a fantastic job for Ski-Sweden.

This does not feel good, says Blomquist.
