Good news for Al-Ahly fans... and a shocker for the supporters of Esperance

Five players in the Tunisian club Esperance announced their rebellion against the team before facing Al-Ahly of Egypt in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League on June 19.

Today, Monday, the “Digital Tunisia” newspaper reported that the five players formally filed a complaint with the Conflicts Committee of the Tunisian Football Federation (Football Federation) to demand their dues or the termination of their contracts, explaining that the five players are among the team’s pillars, namely: Fadi Benchouk. And the Algerian trio, Mohamed Amin Togay, Abdel Raouf bin Ghaith, Abdel Rahman Meziane, in addition to the Libyan Hamdo Al-Huni.

The newspaper added that the player Maher Bel Saghir also refused to train with the group since the end of the team's match against the Algerian youth of Belouizdad, in protest of his lack of participation in the previous matches, in addition to that he will officially leave the team after the end of his contract on June 30.

The Arab and African public is waiting for the big confrontation, which is considered an early final between Al-Ahly and Esperance, as the first won the title nine times (a record), and the second won the championship (4 titles).
