When Janne Andersson presented his national team squad for the WC 2018, Ken Sema was not present, despite a strong season in a brilliant Östersunds FK.

Now the explosive outer is with when the European Championships are won for Sweden.

At today's press conference, he talks about how thoughts go.

- Emil (Forsberg) is in good shape and he is important to us, but I am always ready if I get the chance.

I have had a good season and can play on both sides, which I have done in both ÖFK and Watford.

Assistant national team captain Peter Wettergren talks a lot about Sema and the other player present, Jens Cajuste.

- Both Ken and Jens are fantastically skilled.

We have a tough competitive situation, but they are there and knocking on the door, he says at the press conference.

"Focus on the national team"

Cajuste, who was on his way to an away match in Copenhagen when he received the news of his place in the European Championship squad, also speaks out.

- I try to learn from all the knowledge that our management staff has.

I get better and better every day.

I am learning more and more, he says.

It is still too early to talk about the future and whether there will be a move from Midtjylland, where he has a contract until the summer of 2023.

- I have heard some rumors about different clubs, but the focus is only on the national team.

Then you have to take it as it comes after the European Championships, says Cajuste and continues:

- When you come in as a younger player in a team, you should not think about so much other than what counts and that is football.

Sweden beat Armenia 3-1 yesterday and will start its European Championships on Monday 14 June. Then the group favorite Spain awaits.
