Shingo Kunieda of the men's singles and Yui Kamiji of the women's singles decided to advance to the final at the wheelchair section of the French Open, the four major tennis tournaments held in Paris.

Kunieda, who ranked first in the world in the men's singles, played against Stephen Ude, who ranked sixth in the world in France, in the semifinals held on the 5th.



Kunieda lost the first set 5-7, but took the second set 6-0 and the final third set 6-4 to reverse and proceeded to the final with a set count of 2: 1.



Kunieda is aiming for the eighth victory in three years in the final.



In the women's singles semi-final, Uechi, who was second in the world, played against Kegotatoso Montchane of South Africa in seventh place in the world, winning 6-0 and 6-4 in a row with a set count of 2-0.



Uechi aims to win the final for the second time in a row.
