The national team captain Janne Andersson has on several occasions talked about the competition in several positions in the national team.

Two of these are the forward places.

In the European Championship rematch against Armenia, Alexander Isak and Dejan Kulusevski got the chance, after several training sessions together, to record themselves in an early version of the premiere eleven against Spain in Seville on 14 June.

How it went?

Well...

- It is not in our hands, says Kulusevski.

- I have no idea who will play but whoever will do it will do well.

If you do not play, you must be ready to jump, in today's football you can change matches very quickly.

Do not want to speculate

Isaac:

- I'm not for speculation.

It is not in our hands but if you ask us if we want to play, then of course, but it is not in our hands.

The duo got 72 minutes together.

Isak had a nice chance in the first but lost the balance and did not get order in the end.

Kulusevski arranged the free kick that led to Emil Forsberg's 1-0 goal, was mobile and created some chaos.

But they left the genre rope speechless.

- I think it was a good first half.

We created many chances, pressed well, won many duels.

For the first time, it was very good.

In the second half we were not as good, so it was approved, says Kulusevski.

- I felt that there were good tendencies to good combinations with the others in the team, but it is clear that they wanted to create a little more, says Isak.

Berg delivered

Substitutes Marcus Berg and Robin Quaison needed just over ten minutes to find the right one.

In the 85th minute, Quaison lifted the ball to Bergs 3-1.

Berg has been Andersson's first choice for a long time and will probably also be against Spain.

Then it's harder.

Who can play next to the veteran?

- I think I have great alternatives on the forward side, says Andersson.

Isaac:

- We have five very good forwards and I do not think it is an easy choice but it is good for the national team, that we have many players who are good, he says.

Kulusevski:

- Anyone can play.

The most important thing is that we support each other, because it will be needed.
