They savored this historic success with their coach and their supporters. 

They have "marked history", nothing less.

By succeeding in winning against the Lyonnaises (3-0), the players of PSG can savor a long-awaited first title.

The champions and their coach were able to enjoy a moment of jubilation with some 2,000 supporters at the Parc des Princes.

Very grateful for the unfailing support they have received so far, the Paris SG footballers are already looking forward to next season with the desire to win a new title but were keen to savor the moment.

A "historic" moment

"They say it's historic but it's true, it's the first time. It's something great. We still have our heads in the stars, so we savor," said Kadidiatou Diani.

Same story for Grace Geyoro who recalls that the fact that Paris Saint-Germain feminine "wins this title of champion of France, it's something new, it never happened. We are, we are quite proud from U.S."

And it is not their coach Olivier Echouafni who will say the opposite.

Because the victory required "a lot of work, it was not easy", supports Kadidiatou Diani.

Same feeling for Grace Geyoro who emphasizes that "the team has been fighting for several years. We are missing out on two finals, today we manage to win something", which makes the victory all the more pleasant. . 

"It is the fruit of their work, of so much effort on the ground. They have clearly shown their belonging to the club and this desire to obtain this first title," greets the coach.

"We do not fully realize. We imagined maybe, but not as hard as that".

An atmosphere reinforced by the presence of supporters.

"It is heartwarming to see them, because it is also their reward to them who have not been in the stadiums, but who have always been present in our hearts and also in the moments when they could be there, before the matches, close to hotels, close to buses ", explains Olivier Echouafni.

A joy shared by Kadidiatou Diani.

The supporters "were there and also deserve this title. So there you have it, today it's for us, it's for the group and for the club and for history. It's for them too, for our families, for all those people who supported us ".

The meeting at the Parc des Princes was therefore a moment of communion, with social distancing, Covid obliges, which did not prevent players and supporters from shouting together to cries of "Go Paris" and "Paris is magic" .

New goals in sight

But for the players, this title is just the start. "It is clear that at the start of the school year we will want to keep this title and even do better for next season," said Kadidiatou Diani. For Olivier Echouafni, "this step must also give a future for this group, for this team which will, I hope, be able to go and seek many other titles, whether at the national level, but also on European plan.
