Heung-Min Son of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League (EPL) was proudly named in the 'Premier League Team of the Year' selected by the English Professional Footballers' Association and PFA.

Son Heung-min was selected in the striker category along with his teammate Harry Kane in the 'Team of the Year' list released by the PFA today (5th).

It is the first time among players from Asia, and the first time Son Heung-min is selected as the 'Team of the Year'

Heung-Min Son scored 17 goals and 10 assists in 37 EPL matches this season, setting a new record for most goals in a regular season.

They were tied for fourth in league goals and assists and tied for third in attack points with 27 points.

His team, Tottenham Hotspur, was sluggish in the 7th place in the league, but Son Heung-min performed his best performance, scoring 10 goals and 10 assists in the EPL for the first time in the club for two consecutive seasons.

Heung-Min Son was not selected for the 'Player of the Year' nomination selected by the EPL, but was selected as the PFA Team of the Year, which relieved some of the disappointment.
