For the second year in a row, Chelsea were league champions when the English season was over.

Led by captain Magdalena Eriksson, they finished two points ahead of Manchester City in the league.

The team also reached the club's first final in the Champions League ever on the women's side.

But on May 18 at Gamla Ullevi, Chelsea fell heavily against Barcelona with 4-0.

Second year in a row

But Magdalena Eriksson can now look forward to something else before this summer's Olympics with Sweden.

She has been selected to the PFA (Professional Footballers' Association) team of the year.

Together with four other teammates from Chelsea, she takes a place in the eleven when this year's achievements are summed up.

The 27-year-old was also selected last season.
