26-year-old Yana Sizikova, ranked 765th in the world in singles and 101st in doubles, was arrested on Thursday night after being knocked out in the doubles tournament during the day where she played with Jekaterina Alexandrova.
The Russian pair lost in straight sets (1-6, 1-6) against the Australians Storm Sanders and Ajla Tomljanovic.
The suspicions, however, should apply to a double match last year, according to AFP.
According to Reuters, Sizikova has been arrested.
