Johan Kristoffersson, who drives in a team with Molly Taylor from Australia, repeated the victory from the first round in Saudi Arabia - with a new victory when the new electric car series rolled on to Africa and Senegal.

The difference was the surface, which went from the sand desert to the sandy beach.

Kristoffersson had problems with the starts at the beginning of the competition, and also fell behind in the race semi-final.

But after a sharp maneuver, he managed to fold inside French star Sebastien Loeb, and climbed up to second place before handing over to team-mate Taylor who drove the final distance.

The Australian drove safely and securely and made sure that Rosberg X Racing took its second straight victory in the championship.

A championship they now lead by 71 points, 14 points ahead of F1 star Lewis Hamilton's Team X44.

Third is the Swede Mikaela Åhlin Kottulinsky who drives in the former F1 world champion Jenson Button's stable.

Button, however, stood over the race in Senegal in favor of Swedish Kevin Hansen.

At the end of August, the next race, in a completely different terrain, awaits Greenland.
