De Bruyne suffered a broken nose and the bone surrounding the eye during the European final

Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne announced that Manchester City star suffered a fracture of the nasal bone and the bone surrounding the eye after colliding with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger during the Champions League final on Saturday night.

De Bruyne, 29, left the field immediately after hitting Brudiger, appearing groggy and bruised on his face.

De Bruyne wrote on his Twitter account that he is fine now, and regarding the loss to Chelsea with a goal without a response, he stated, "I am still frustrated about yesterday, of course, but we will be back."

De Bruyne did not reveal whether the injuries would affect his participation with the Belgian national team in Euro 2020, during which the team begins its campaign against Russia in St Petersburg on June 12.
