The Tokyo Olympic torch relay entered the Hokuriku region, and on the 29th, the schedule for the first day was completed over the nine cities and towns of the first prefecture, Fukui prefecture.

The Tokyo Olympic torch relay was held for two days from the 29th in Fukui Prefecture, which is the 31st in Japan, and the departure ceremony was held at Wakasa Takahama Sea Fishing Park in Takahama Town from 8:00 am on the first day.



The first runner was Masaji Ogino from Wakasa Town, who participated in the Beijing Olympics as a representative of Japan for men's volleyball, and ran 200 meters with a smile and waved his hand, and handed over the torch to the next runner.



The torch traveled around nine cities and towns and reached the goal of the first day in Sabae at around 7:30 pm.



On the 30th, we will visit eight cities and towns, and finally at the central park in Fukui City, a celebration will be held to celebrate the goal.



The executive committee of Fukui Prefecture is calling for keeping intervals so as not to be crowded with spectators along the road and to utilize live internet broadcasting as much as possible.
