It was in Häcken's Allsvenskan meeting against Mjällby almost two weeks ago that national team defender Martin Olsson got a kick in the leg.

What initially appeared to be a hemorrhage in the calf, turned out to be a crack in the calf bone instead.

"The normal healing time for this type of fracture is 3-6 weeks, but it may be possible to play earlier than that, depending on the level of pain," says Johan Sandberg.

The absence due to injury raises questions before the European Championships, which start on 11 June. Sweden premieres against Spain on 14 June.
