Peder Fredricson, 49, started with All In, the horse he won European Championship gold with in Gothenburg 2017.

The golden horse, which Fredricson matches against the Olympics, has competed sparingly recently.

In April, the gelding made a competition comeback after a break of just over a year and a half.

Today's 1.60 jumping was All Ins' biggest class in a long time.

Fredricson's GCT team, Valkenswaard United, was second behind the Shanghai Swans after Thursday's first round.

Fredricson and All In started for their team, they had a setback, but impressed SVT Sports expert Lotta Björe.

- Superbly nice jumping, states Björe.

- Nice to see that they are soon back in really, really good old nice shape.

It was not crystal clear that he (All In) would return within this time.

Edwina Tops-Alexander also had a setback - despite that, the team took home the victory.

But it was by the smallest possible margin.

Like the Shanghai Swans, they had a total of two shots - but they were 2.56 seconds faster.

- To be honest, I actually thought we would be second.

But it was our day today and we were a little lucky.
