Eight months after his arrival at the Girondins de Bordeaux, Hatem Ben Arfa should leave the club this summer.

He signed up last October for one year with the Navy and White with an optional second year, but this was "subject to certain sporting criteria which were not met", explains Alain Roche, the sporting director, during an interview with

Sud Ouest.

After a good start to the season (2 goals and 5 assists in 2020), the French striker has completely disappeared from the traffic between injuries, bad shapes and problems in the locker room with some players then his coach, Jean-Louis Gasset.

For his part, Hatem Ben Arfa's entourage hinted at

20 Minutes

that the player had not yet made his decision on his future a few days ago.

The former French international has even been surveyed by one of the candidates for the club's buyout to stay.

At 34, he still hopes to continue his career and at least four French and European clubs are following him very closely according to our information.
