Cavani became the fourth player in UEL history to score in two semi-finals and a final

The Uruguayan scored the only goal for Manchester United in regulation time in the final against Villarreal, scoring doubles in both semi-finals against Roma.

Earlier it was reported that Villarreal did not lose a single match in regular time LE-2020/2021.
