The Organizing Committee of the 30th Long Distance Locksmith Race, which is held under the patronage and support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, has announced the opening of registration for 60-foot local boaters, owners and sailors, who will compete for his valuable financial prizes one day. Friday 4 June next.

The Supreme Racing Organizing Committee revealed that all registration procedures will be done through the club's online portal, in compliance with the officials' directives regarding social distancing and in order to facilitate the task for all participants, indicating that cooperation between everyone contributes to the success of the event.

A member of the Higher Organizing Committee, Hazeem Muhammad Al-Qamzi, said that the registration process will pass through three stages before heading to Sir Bu Nair Island in preparation for the start of the race on Friday, while Saturday will be a reserve date in case the race is postponed.

Al-Qamzi called on all the Nakhchids, owners and sailors to cooperate with the organizing committee in completing the procedures and fulfilling the conditions for participation in the great heritage marine sports festival, which marks the end of the activities of the marine sports season, and carries the legacy, history and nobility of the people of the Emirates whose lives are linked to the sea.

Al Qamzi explained that the organizing committee continues its efforts to make the demonstration a success, which is being held with the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, as the copy this time bears the 30th anniversary of its establishment in 1991, making it an exceptionally beautiful and expressive celebration.
