Umeå IK had to leave the damallsvenskan last year.

This year's season in the elite has started brilliantly for the club.

UIK has won four of five league matches and has a goal difference of 17-1.

In other words, the team is on its way back to Sweden's fine room.

Eight goals - tops the shooting league

One reason for the success is Henna-Riikka Honkanen, 26. She has delivered eight goals and five assists and thus tops the shooting league in the elite.

Honkanen came to Umeå before this year's season after playing with Pink Bari in Italy and JyPK in the Finnish league.

- So far, I have really enjoyed being here.

I am very critical of myself and my efforts so it is not always so easy to enjoy, but here I have enjoyed more than ever.

Here is the whole package with studies that I will start and a good team, she says to Expressen.

"I should replace it"

She has an interesting story.

In 2014, the doctors told her that she should not play football.

- When the doctors look at my knee, they say that it looks like an 80-year-old, I should replace it.

It's also a reason why I have a hard time appreciating football sometimes.

But I have become accustomed to the pain, she says.

She tells Expressen that she took a break from 2014 to 2017 - then she resumed her career.

- I'm addicted to the feelings I get.

I can not get the whole range of emotions elsewhere, says Honkanen to Expressen.
