Ekdal trained with the national team - despite cold symptoms

On Tuesday, Sweden conducted its first training in Båstad before the European Football Championship.

In a press release, the Swedish national team management announced that the Swedish midfielder Albin Ekdal has had a mild cold and will train individually.

Despite that, the midfielder was on the pitch when training started.

However, Ekdal left the others after half an hour.

- We have examined Albin. He is also tested for corona today, it was negative. And he was also tested yesterday. It is probably a mild cold and then he can be part of the warm-up part he was today, says Jonas Werner, the national team doctor, to SVT Sport.
