It is not just for Sweden that Belarus created problems during the hockey World Cup in Riga, Latvia.

The Czech Republic - which just like Sweden started the championship with two losses - was busy with the Belarusian team.

Belarus's biggest star, Jahor Sharanhovich, gave the nation the lead six minutes into the second period.

Before the middle period was over, however, the Czechs would turn to lead.

Jan Kovar netted before the 21-year-old forward, Filip Zadina, stayed ahead in powerplay 13 minutes into period number two.

Belarus receipt would be delayed, but still come.

Vladislav Yeryomenko, one of many players in this national team who plays in Dinamo Minsk on a daily basis, equalized and scored his first goal in the championship.

Kubalik hero

The match in extra time where it would be an NHL star who got the last word.

Dominik Kubalik was released and did not disappoint Czech when he tricked the goalkeeper and poked the puck between the leg guards.

- You do not want Kubalik in this situation, it is a goal scorer of rank.

He knows exactly what to do and has good timing in what he does, says SVT's expert, Jonas Andersson.

Victory for the Czech Republic who thus took their first two points.
