- They have gone from being the most boring team to watch to being one of my favorite teams, or the most fun team to watch, Nannskog states.

Kalmar FF qualified to stay in the Allsvenskan as late as December.

Then there were not many except genuine squid who cheered.

Kalmar did not play happy football in 2020 and the tip before this year's Allsvenskan was that the team would fight at the bottom.

Now the team stands with only one loss, in fourth place after eight rounds.

A transformation directed by club icon Henrik Rydström and a transformation that also reversed SVT's football expert Daniel Nannskog:

- They have gone from being a team that hits very far and invested in fixed situations to becoming an incredibly playing and clear team where you often find your way into the famous gap and then combine until goal chances.

"More fun to draw now"

- Hats off to how Rydström has instilled a courage in these players to dare to play the ball along the hill even in pressured situations.

Nannskog is impressed with how Rydström has been able to change the game in such a short time.

- It really feels like all players believe in this idea and love to play this way.

Kalmar's new way of playing has also made the job easier for SVT's expert.

- When I would find sequences to pick from Kalmar's matches for the Football Studio and Sportnytt, it was difficult. It was a long throw or so. Now it is so clear, easy and fun to find good sequences to pick out and draw on, says Nannskog.
