Abandonment of Charles Leclerc before departure

"It's so special to win in Monaco, it's also the first time I'm on the podium here, it's really cool," said Verstappen, who is now four points ahead of Hamilton.

The Dutchman was to start second behind Charles Leclerc but the Monegasque retired before the start, the fault of a mechanical problem with his Ferrari.
