The government has put together a draft infection control plan for VIPs from overseas who will come to Japan at the time of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, and requests that they refrain from visiting or contacting athletes in their own country during their stay.

At the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, dignitaries such as leaders and ministers are expected to visit Japan from overseas, and the government has compiled a draft of measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection for these dignitaries.



According to this, it is exempted from waiting for 14 days after entering Japan, provided that virus tests are performed before departure and at the time of entry, and measures such as narrowing down the number of attendants are taken.



On top of that,


▽ the length of stay should be as short as possible,


▽ do not use public transportation when moving, and in principle, move by car,


and


▽ refrain from visiting or contacting athletes in your own country during your stay. Is requested.



The government has raised concerns about measures to prevent infections of VIPs and the press overseas, so it will consider further and formulate detailed countermeasures.
