Al-Nasr demands the President's Cup final replay
Al-Nasr Football Company filed an official complaint with the Disciplinary Committee of the Football Association, during which it requested a replay of the match between Al-Ameed, against Shabab Al-Ahly, in the final of the President's Cup, which ended with the victory of the Dubai Knights 2-1.
The company stated in a press release on the club’s official website that: “Out of its responsibility and keenness to preserve the rights of its fans, players, and technical and administrative apparatus, and in an effort to keep the reputation of Emirati football in its best form, Al Nasr Football Company submitted a formal complaint to the Disciplinary Committee today, Tuesday. The Football Association about the disastrous events that occurred during the final match of the President's Cup for the sports season 2020/2021.
She added, "In terms of the result, she called for a replay of the match based on the existence of a technical legal error requiring a repeat in accordance with the relevant regulations, and as a precaution, the club should be compensated for the damage it suffered and the lost gain as a result of serious errors related to refereeing in the aforementioned match."
