Sarah Sjöström is one of the big Swedish gold jumps in this summer's postponed Olympics.

But after suffering an elbow fracture in February, the charge has not been optimal for the 27-year-old who took Olympic gold in the special distance 100 butterfly in Rio 2016.

Now the swimming star tells Radiosporten that she does not have high hopes of being able to defend that title.

Butterfly swimming is especially problematic after the fracture.

- I am not as strong in my right arm, I lost almost four centimeters of muscle mass around my broken arm.

It will be very fluid and asymmetrical on the butterfly swim so far, says Sarah Sjöström.

Instead, the goal is to be able to perform at 50 and 100 meters freestyle.

- I obviously hope that the butterfly swim will suddenly work, but I'm not very hopeful.

I am very happy that the freestyle disciplines work in any case, says Sjöström.
