The coach of the Yemen national team dies of corona

The coach of the Yemeni national football team, Sami Al-Nash, died today, Sunday, of complications from his infection with the emerging corona virus "Covid-19".

Al-Nash died in an isolation center in the city of Aden, after his health deteriorated due to the deterioration of his health, according to a statement announced by the Yemeni Football Association.

Al-Nash spent the past weeks in the health isolation center in Aden, after it was confirmed that he was infected with the Coronavirus during the training camp of the Yemeni team in Shabwa.

The Yemeni national team, under the leadership of Sami Al-Naash, was preparing to play three matches in the joint qualifiers for the World Cup and the Asian Cup at the end of this month and early June, and the supplementary match for the Arab Cup with his Mauritanian counterpart at the end of next month.

Yemen is part of Group D in the double Asian qualifiers, with Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, Singapore and Palestine.

The Yemeni national team will play with its Saudi counterpart on the fifth of next June, in the Asian World Cup qualifiers, at the King Saud University Stadium.
