Spanish newspaper AS reported that former Juventus coach Massimiliano Alegre is the closest to leading Real Madrid in the next season, succeeding French Zinedine Zidane, who told his players that he would leave the club at the end of the current season.
The pro-Real Madrid newspaper said that the club was thinking of giving the helm of the leadership to its legend Raul Gonzalez, who coaches the youth team, but things are moving towards Alegre, while Raul is expected to move to coach Interracht Frankfurt next season, especially since he has great experience in German stadiums in which he played for years with Schalke's team.
The newspaper pointed out that Alegre is considered the favorite coach of Real Madrid President Florentino Perez because he possesses the ingredients that the club is looking for, especially as he is not associated with any club after his departure from Juventus in the summer of 2019.
