On the eve of the final, 42nd round in the National Football League (FNL), not only the three winners were determined, but also the teams that received direct tickets to the RPL became finally known. According to the sports principle, this right should have gone to Orenburg, which became the second, but the club did not fulfill the necessary conditions for obtaining a license to play in the Premier League. In this regard, its place was given to Nizhny Novgorod, which is located on the third line.

With this in mind, the main intrigue was only whether the winners would be able to finish the championship on a high note, and this was especially true for the Samara team.
